Remodeling
Go ahead and repaint everyday
But you'll never cover up all these flaws
Because this house is no longer a home
And your temples all but burned down
This once beautiful palace
Is now a blighted slum
And the pieces that are left of it
are dingy and so glum
From the oculi
To the buttresses
The rib vaults
And the foundation
May the styles that come from you
Be shunned by every nation
The love I once expressed
Is under renovation
The feelings are repressed
So I'll find a new location
