Free at Last
I stared as the formidable men walked by, I could see the drive and the stars in their eyes. Holding our flag, red, white, and blue. Assured the onlookers the rumors were true. Now no more fear for the explosive contraptions. No fear for death or war-torn reactions. The rythym of their footsteps was reassuring, this reunion was far from boring. Our enemies we've now befriended. One man stood and said, "The war has ended."
