Rejected Once More
Roses are red,
Most violates are blue.
I said, "I love you."
But you didn't too?
Are your feelings clear now,
are we over and done?
I cried for days,
wondering, 'Why can't your heart be won?'
The rejection was contagious, just like the flu.
It's happened before,
and it's happening with you.
I don't understand?
Why can't I break through?
Your heart is too closed,
but that I already knew.
You're stuck in your ways,
but my heart's stuck on you.
If you weren't so stubborn,
you'd change your view.
I was foolish to think about a dumb boy like you.
You're all the same,
and more twisted than a screw.
So I was in love!
And if only you had a clue.
But some people aren't permanent, just like the mess I call, you.
But when I look back,
just to review,
time gave me a gift.
The gift of not wanting you.
So good-bye my old heart!
I'm ready for anew.
This one hasn't gotten anyroom
for a worthless boy like you.

I wrote this after having a bad break up with a boy. So if you're a girl, I want you to know that boys aren't worth any tears and if they're making you feel bad about yourself that they shouldn't have that power over you.
