You Are Forgiven
Hands squeezed into fists
Eyes squinted, desperate to see
Mouth clenched; don't make a sound
Must walk the narrow line.
Stand up, don't fall
Walk straight, faster now.
Add this to your load
Carry it all.
You fell, now you have to crawl
Keep going don't stop yet
It isn't over, never over
I am your boss recall?
'I can't keep going,
It's too hard.
I don't want to follow you anymore.
Let me go, you unknowning.
Evil madness, it's all I see.
Did I deserve this?
How can I stop it?
Forgive me.'
A voice in the distance breathed,
'You are forgiven.
Come back to me.
You are still loved.'
