Smack my alarm at the crack of dawn
Hit the floor, my excitement gone
Run to the bathroom, jump in the shower
Wish I could stay there for another hour

Race to my car, scrape off the ice
Check my rearview mirror'twice
Realize that I am missing my key
Slip on the ice, bruise my knee

Arrive at school, curse my fate
Hear the bell, I'm seconds late!
Sit through a lecture, fall asleep
Hunt for some lunch'Wendy's is cheap

Praise the heavens, school is done
Head out the door, its time for some fun
Get called in to work'there goes my play
Ask me to the movie some other day

Collapse on my bed, my homework's complete
Drink hot chocolate, sugary sweet
Smile, my day has come to an end
Oh great'tomorrow I'll do it again!
