Poetry to me

Poetry to me is not something easily explained.
It’s a mix between sitting on a couch and
Watching a good movie and jumping on a
Flaming cactus when I’m forced to read and
Write it. It stayed this way and still is
This way unless I find a poem that
Mimics a good book. I do find
Poetry helps people express their ideas, feelings,
And emotions. So through the struggling fight
Of understanding poets in the end it’s not always
Worth it.
