Broken Trust
I thought you were supposed to be able to trust good friends, isn’t that how it’s supposed to be? Whispering secrets to each other like snakes with silent slithering tongues. Not a word is to be spoken to another person, like sealing your lips and throwing away the key. I saw you across the room whispering, whispering, whispering, your mouth was full of venom. I heard what you said; I thought trust meant secrets were safe like the rainbows in the sky, untouchable. Rainbows are magnificent their colors are all so spectacular. But you made it go away, the sad gloomy clouds filled the sky and a blanket of dull grey made the sun run away. Where did the trust go, and my secrets? Raindrops fell from my eyes and it hurt like a sharp snake bite. Venom running through my veins burning what rest of our friendship remained. I thought you were supposed to be able to trust good friends? I guess it was all a lie.
