Nature Walk
I can hear the birds chirping out back,
keeping the beauty that I lack.
The sound of sweet music fills the air,
I know it's hard, but I still try to care.
The leaves grow larger on the trees,
for the first time, I feel the summer breeze.
The clouds are gone as the sun shines through,
and then the sky goes from black to light blue.
This is how my morning always goes,
Though sometimes it is as sweet as a rose.

This is one of the many poems that I wrote personally in my 8th grade year. I found a new-found love for poems and wrote continuously and in them I was able to express myself. In this one I show how I observe the things around me. I see the leaves growing on the trees, I feel the warm summer breeze. I hear the birds chirping more beautiful than I. those little details that can keep you going from morning 'till night. If you're ever having a difficult time then just look to this as an example and think of something incredible that will truly make you smile.
