“Styx And Stones”
You sit aboard a Barge Riding
On the Hateful waters Gliding
On the Dusts Of Bones
Nudging Bumping the Faces Of Stones
Wind from a backside grips grips
And Forcibly forcibly rips rips
Apart
Your Will
Your Loves
Your Spirits
Look over the boatside lining
And watch the Luring Light shining
Falling onto You
Calling Out to You . . .
You sit
Floating Floating
In the Light gloating gloation
Of its Triumph
Look over the bargeside shading
And You notice Your Body Fading
On with the Ventures of the Next Day :
Into a Cavern You Row Astray
Dead End Dead End You’re finally at bay
The Boat collapses and so so lay
Atop the waters
Gone needless to say
You’d been Broken by The Styx and It’s Stones.
