All's fair in love and war. Everyone loves everyone else, and the whole world is at war. So anything that you do is fair... break a girl's heart and tell me that, I'll believe you.

As time stood still, at 2 o' clock in the morn'...
I look back at time I spent, for so long...
Waiting... if not wanting... for a friend...
One who'd be my all... until the end...

4 years from now, if I look back...
I was a kid, to whom love and romance was whack...
I'd use to ask myself, "Why do men, fall like suckers for girls?
And why they waste good money on buying them diamonds and pearls?"

Unexpectedly... I stumbled upon you both...
One after the other... in the process of my growth
From a school kid to a teen...
Between me and peeps... nothing was in between...

No... not that you came as an envoy of discord...
Rather... you helped me strenghten bonds... make new accords...
What started as a friendship, just saying hi and bye bye...
Ended up in us telling each other that we'll be for each other in their lows and highs...

Yes... I'll still be there for you, on that can you bet...
But, I'll be a stuble prescence, be there... but yet...
Stay away from you both... as the tragedy of tyranny has struck...
Chaining a normal person... as if he were running amock...

My deepest and sincerest apologies...cannot and will not suffice...
The pain I cause by building this wall of ice...
Between us...
So now... I leave without a fuss...

The day...

Time stood still at two o' clock in the morn...
I look back at the days we passed... Oh! the hours will feel so long...
Hesitantly.. I leave you... dear friends...
Forward, ho! Lonely until the end...

Since this is a real incident, reasoning is so much more simpler. Well, after my parents banished from talking to any girl they don't certify as "proper" for me to talk to.. I had to give a fitting good bye to two of the people who played a BIG part in my life. This is my tribute to those two people.

What I'd like people to understand is that, try to understand the mind of a teenager. It's not like if he talks to a girl, he's gonna fall in love with her, and tell his parents that she's the only one he'll marry. Isolation from the opposite sex will only fire those kind of feelings more powerfully. Kids who grew up mingling freely with the opposite sex make, correct and learn the mistakes that people who haven't make later on, during the crucial time of life, teenage. So, let the kids go, build up confidence that they can confide in you like you're a friend, so that you stay informed, and play a part in their desicion making, not strangle them.

I’m the girl who hides behind a smile
And does not let you see the pain inside
The girl who wants to cry
Who can barely hold it inside
The one with lots of friends
But no one to confide in
They all think I’m perfect
They think there is nothing wrong
That’s cause they believe the mask
The mask of serenity

Amazing poem :) I really like it!
