"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,"

There is a place
Where the clouds are painted with stars
And make the heavens
Shine
Kissing the earth
As they fall from the skies
Relished and kept under
The earth’s cheek
As precious gems
That can’t be bought or recreated
The mountains
Reach with mighty hands
To touch such a splendid sky
Full of diamonds and sapphires
Opals and aquamarines
Dappling in the rays
Of sun and moon
Conquered by beauty
And sacred mystery
Guarded by thunderous storms
Typhoons and tempests
That rage on
As strong winds and floods
Cascade over the land
A far, a near what is clear
Is a sky blue sea
A sea blue sky
So focused
So dear
The sky
With it’s twinkling eyes
On a blanket of dreams
And darkness
Accompanied by clouds
And blazing eyes in the day
A sea so vast there is no end
So vast it is with treasures galore
With so much to adore
It’s little fish
And tiny wishes in a shell
And a distance bell that rings

I wrote this out of hope that people who leave this earth go to a better place than where they were before.
