Trust
Trust is given once
In hope of brilliance
But then it bends
Your whole world condemns
It leaves a heart in tiny pieces
And a soul in search of surceases
Trust once lost cannot be given
cannot be earned even
One may forgive, but won’t forget
And shall not live in no regret
No matter what the reason
For this awful treason
With the pieces mend one broken will still be
One who broke can no longer plea
For thee who is, will be gone
and thee who lost, will be left alone
