Prevent that Regret
You’re excited for the party of the year,
Buying the perfect outfit thinking it will be the attention of the party,
You drive only thinking you’re prepared,
Meeting new girls and lots of guys,
You start to talk,
You start to dance,
You start to drink,
Before you even know it you can barely even stand on two feet,
This moment is ecstatic,
You get in your car thinking you‘re all okay,
You see blurs of all colors,
You look to the right,
You look to the left,
You look forward seeing this strange figure moving across your blind spot,
You turn your head,
The next moment you’re waking up,
You wake up to an empty room,
Suddenly you see a nurse,
Asking her what happened to me?
She tells you with sorrowful eyes,
You’ve been in a car accident,
You are now the cause of a an innocent death,
This incident leads you to despair,
Finding it pointless to even live,
Knowing that, that person had a story that is now lost and gone,
Don’t drink and drive,
Say no,
Prevent.
