the river that your cried
when you hadn’t gotten your way.

Is the puddle you wept
When you couldn’t go out to play
Aqueous
Is the ditch that filled
That overspilled
Into the street
That mudded
From the tears that flooded
With the shrill shrieks
From sobbing without cease
What is an ‘aqueous’ thing ?
The result of tears
Overbearing
Overflowing
Overtaking
Your life
On the crossroads
Of Hell and Earth
