Come back
That winding road that we've walked ever since we can remember
has suddenly thrown me for a sharp curve
I didn't see it coming
and I stumbled
And then I started running just to keep up with it
I ran faster and faster
I came to a fork in the road
I didn't slow down, I couldn't
I went straight
I watched as my friends disappeared
Their confused faces, their arms waving
Shouting, "Come back!"
But I was too far gone
They had chosen the other road
