When We Met
I don’t care if the world is fine
I don’t care that the sun still shines
Because I remember when the world was mine
And the laws of physics were blurred lines
I remember when fantasy was reality
When I was the man of the hour
But now I’m bound to normality
Alone in the rain, I’ve lost my power
Without you I am just a sorry fool
Without you I taste the tang of regret
I know the feeling of a world so cruel
And yet I cannot regret the day we met.
