If you could,
would you change
all the things
that caused explicit pain?
The things you hid
deep inside,
now come to surface,
breathing and alive.
Would you trade the bad for good?
But what will happen
to the lessons you knew?
Are they gone?
Out the window
like your bleeding heart?
Now you have to make
a brand new start.
If I were you,
I wouldn't trade
the hurts
the pains
the sorrows
of yesterday.
That day is gone
and now its new
so I wouldn't change,
if I were you
