Well, we all know
how it is to be a teen.
You wake up,
really early in the morning.
Figuring out that you acidentally used your math book as a pillow.
And the homework you wanted to get done was sticking to your face.
You go to school,
go to class with teachers you can't stand.
Just another day.

When school is finally over,
you get on the bus,
thankful that the person that always
picks on you,
isn't there.
You sit down in your seat and listen to the bus driver yell at kids to stop throwing paper planes.
Just another day.

You arrive home exhausted,
and guess what?
You find out that the chores you were supposed to do tomorrow,
was moved up to today, because guests were coming over in an hour.
Just another day.

You were now given the task of waiting at the door. To unlock it when the guests arrive,
and to greet them and make them feel welcome.
Standing there you think about your day and relaize that the homework your algebra teacher gave you, was due tomorrow.
Just another day.

When the guests leave you hurry up to your room and hit the books.
Wondering why you can't figure out a simple equation.
With fifty more questions to go,
you feel as if the homework will go on forever.
Just another day.

You wake up,
figuring out that you acidentally used your math book as a pillow.
And that your homework was sticking to your face.
The homework that you had wanted to get done last night.
You pack it into your bookbag,
and go to school,
go to classes with teachers you can't stand.
Just another day in the life of a teen.
