Sniffles,
Cries,
Whimpers,
A hidden child.
Hiding
Out of fear.
Shouts and crashes reach her ears.
They're fighting again.
So she hides.
Hides from the pain,
From the fear,
From her parents.
Cowering low covering her ears,
So she won't hear Daddy hit Mommy,
So she won't hear mommy cry.
She won't come out,
Until it's over.
Until Daddy leaves again.
So she stays hidden.
A hiding child.

This was the fruits of an experiment me and my freind were doing. She wrote a poem and gave em the title and I'd write a poem with the same title. Then we'd compare them and see how different we each interpreted the titles. It was actually a lot of fun.
