Eternal Love
Love, it was the very concept that this beautiful,
Yet awful thing we call life was birthed from.
For ye that follows in the footsteps of love,
Hath been bound to eternal paradise,
By the wings of an angel, and bathed
In the holy waters of the river Jordan.
It is through my new founded devotion
For you that you hath evoked in me,
A burning passionate lust for the most,
Grandeur of all emotions.
In my inexplicable and undoubted
Love for you I have discovered
Within myself, that to be in love,
Is to grace things with a softer touch.
You have enchanted me with your peaceful touch,
Your beauteous smile, your affectionate kiss
And your tender love for me, as my love for you,
Is a passionless passion, being so natural,
That there needn’t be any passion,
For love thee with the breath, smiles and tears
Of all my life, and if I had so to chose,
I would love thee greater even after death
