Windows
Each mind has a door,
That firmly shuts all one’s thoughts.
Yet, you have windows.
Light pours through each one,
Zapping out pain with gold rays.
And, fills you with song.
Your windows have clouds,
Fluffy white in perfect blue.
You sing like the dove.
My door shuts out all.
Memories decay in here.
Music is unknown.
Welcome to my cell.
Makers of cobwebs despair.
I dwindle away.
There once was a key,
I’m stuck in my labyrinth mind.
The knob will not turn.
Each mind has a door,
I’m trapped, and losing all hope.
Yet, you have windows.
Begging, pleading for windows.
