Winter Fun
I wake up one morning and what do I see?
A blanket of snow just waiting for me!
Waiting for me to play and run,
Waiting for me have tons of fun!
I get all bundled up and sprint out the door,
And the cold overtakes me, right down to my core.
I shake off the chill and zip my coat high,
And kiss the warm weather a sweet, sweet goodbye!
I plop down in the snow with a smile on my face,
And make a snow angel in the frozen glace.
I finish the angel and get up to see,
What a beautiful creation! I'll name her Marie!
The next thing I do since the temperature's low
Is build a huge fort made completely of snow.
It takes a long time, but the time was well spent,
Because when I'm done, the fort was sturdy as cement!
I spend some time in my wonderous snow castle,
Until my mom calls me inside. Oh, what a hassle!
I walk in the door, and what do I see?
A cup of hot chocolate, just waiting for me!
