Gotta Love Him
My love. My savior. My life
Calling me his perfect little wife.
Now my one and only true love.
We fit together like a hand in a glove.
Like a mouse wants cheese.
Like a baby loves jingling keys.
We are definitely not perfect.
But, hey, that’s what you should expect.
No one is perfect at all,
And everyone will eventually fall.
I fell, hard for him.
A long journey to swim.
And we made it. 8 months and still counting.
We kept each other from drowning.
Drowning in sorrow and sadness, only each other could fix.
Bringing up our life of tricks and kicks.
Smiling and talking all day and night long.
And over it all, we stayed strong.
And if it stays like this, love and life,
Then this is how I want to live, no strife,
Just a happily ever after long life.
