Reflection
Strange whispers wake me from my sleep,
My dream is so violent, so deep.
A sinister laugh runs down the hall,
I have no choice but to follow.
Shadows creep around me,
I squint hard and try to see.
I shiver as cold air nips my skin
The laugh goes to the basement cackling with sin.
Fear fills my bones and holds me back,
But curiosity inside me craves for a snack.
I creep down the steps and see a thing,
A sheet over something in the shape of a ring.
I pull off the cover and look in the mirror,
I see a devil and fill with fear.
I move my hand and it moves it’s,
I flop down and it even sits.
This thing was as me as I am,
A devil within me; a young man.
