I see
I see past the smiles and the lies,
I see the tears, I hear the cries.
I see the lines, that mark their thighs,
I see the fake, I know the highs.
I see what they hide, the crimson stains,
All the blood, that has left their veins.
I see the stars, I see the death.
I see creation, and I see your last breath.
My eyes are weary, but they work well,
Any person can clearly see that this is Hell.
You don’t have to go far, you don’t even have to run.
The end is right here, I see down the barrel of the gun.
I’ve been there, so I know.
I once hit rock bottom, nothing below.
I know the guilt, and I know the pain.
I know the feeling, I fought a sick brain.
The thoughts hurt, they picked and burned,
The end was right insight, that’s what I yearned.
But something changed, I learned how to fight,
So I thank God, I didn’t take my life that night.
I’m still here, so I share it all with you,
They say the truth hurts, so listen to what is true.
They need our help, they need our love,
I'm done watching kids leave for heaven above.
This is a warning, beware.
Things will only change if people are made aware.
