Possibilities
Every time those bodies walk passed me, my eyes turn towards them
My mind takes on the challenge to figure out what goes on in them
I wonder about the thoughts that float within their minds
Seeds of worries, fears, or jubilation I wonder
I wonder what motivates them to start a new day
Money, passion, familial obligation I wonder
I wonder how many times they have been through this path
as I come across these fading bodies every day
Every day I find myself caught up in this swirling tide of thoughts
Travelling down this road meeting up with familiar possibilities
But never seem to meet one to call my own
