Circle of Life
He was the person she saw,
when she opened her eyes for the first time.
Her first words
were “dada”.
On her first day of school,
he wiped her tears
and told her not to worry.
He watched her grow up,
and himself, grow old.
One day,
they got into a bad accident.
The father was badly injured,
but she didn’t even have a scratch on her.
She called 911,
and told him he would survive through this.
However, she was the last person he touched,
the last person he saw,
And his final words,
“dada”,
were words she would remember forever.
