The Lover Lie
We're friends to the face,
But lovers through eyes.
I hate like him in mind,
But hate him through eyes.
A glare or an insult is really a kiss,
A rude remark is really a wish.
We're friends to the face,
But lovers through eyes.
Should I contain
My feelings inside?

No one just goes up to someone and says "hey, I like you" anymore.
Instead, people pretend to hate each other, but really they like each other.
NOTE: I have published this poem before under the username "Demosthenes" and "xWonder_Struckx" on the internet.
