Normal
Mediocre
Nothing Special about me
Public school
Friends that are cool
And a house by the sea

A normal face
Another in the crowd
Not gifted at anything
At least nothing to be proud of

A smile stapled to my face
A laugh empty s air
Dirty blonde hair
And skin that’s pale not fair

Boys don’t look at me
But they all text my friends
I’m not flirty or giggly
And I don’t give a s*** about trends

Honor student
Never the best
After schools with other peoples drama
I’m the one who needs the rest

My future is blank
My dreams are too big
I’m not special to any one
It’s hard to believe that my life has just begun

When reading this
Don’t feed me all crap
How I’m beautiful and amazing
Because this is how I feel
And there’s no changing that

I never really was able to explain how I feel inside with out some one else arguing. This piece was me coming in terms with myself and taking a breath. I accept the reality of my life and I know where I stand.

I love this poem!! This hits the nail on the head with how alot of people feel sometimes... You are good at poems so don't tell me you are not good at anything!!!
