Remains on the Floor
Shattered glass and broken pages
The book, unwritten, and the mirror
Pieces of each lying on the floor
In one, a child looked back out at me
In the other, the pen told the whole story
The story and my reflection, no more
The view from these green eyes split in fragments
The ideas on each and every page torn into shreds
The reflection screams "What did you do this for?"
A fist breaking through the glass holding a monster
Two infuriated hands tearing paper into pieces
Gaze at my darker half scattered on the floor

Ohmygosh! I truly love this! :) You can actually feel the emotion. :) It creates kind of a mysterious atmosphere, and I absolutely love that. This is amazing: 5 stars! :)
I am so jealous of your poetry, haha. :)
