Waiting for the Rainbow
Dark clouds fill the sky.
It’s... I’m so, so angry
screaming, yelling, thrashing.
Lightning shoots from the sky above
creating fire.
My vision is filled with hatred
and loathsome towards all of mankind.
The clouds break open;
water pours from the sky
drowning the sorrows.
I wait.
And wait.
And wait.
I just want calm.
I just want peace.
The fire roars,
consuming everything
and everyone it it’s path.
At last when all hope
seems lost,
the sun begins to
break through the
clouds of darkness, and
a faint rainbow appears.
Returning the will and hope.
