Just like that the thunder struck
And just like that our time was up
All your faces I’ll so dearly miss
The caps on our heads, the blue of our gowns
Adding to the feeling of a dark abyss
Just like that the thunder struck
Growing up to prove them wrong
No longer the help from our peers to push us along
Just like that the thunder struck
We’ll take many different routes
Through it all we’ll work through the doubts
Just like that the thunder struck
And just like that our time was up
