Until the Germans Came
Life was swell,nothing wrong.
Until the Germans came.Puts us in the Ghettos, puts in the wagons.Told us, they were going to shoot,if one person was missing. Some of us were seperated.Mothers crying, babies wailed.Fathers trying to be strong.Children refusing to leave either parent. It tears my heart to see.I hear screaming pains of torture. My heart is broken,I tried to tune out.The smell of flesh burned the noses standing at death's door.People running scared, people scared, hanged, gassed, burned for being a jew.All because the germans came.
