Snow Falls
Snow falls from the chilly winter sky,
The fresh smell of the lovely Christmas tree,
Decorations hang up bright and shiny,
Ribbons and bows are for me left to tie.
Sweet Potatoes, fresh rolls, ham, and warm pie,
The taste of the candy is oh so sweet,
Candy canes are my favorite treat,
I fill my stomach and give a big sigh.
This Christmas I am not alone and sad,
I have some one to hold,
This feels differently from all of the rest.
This makes this Christmas far so glad to add,
This merry Christmas does not feel like the old,
For this Christmastime has just been the best.
