I'm Crouching Behind a Bush
I'm crouching behind a bush
Hoping you don't see
Why does this always happen to me?
Then I see her walking
She's coming towards you
I crouch lower
I want to be hidden
You greet her with a kiss
My heart sinks in my chest
You gesture to the bench
And she sits down
I’m trying to listen
But you're speaking softly
You have a gift for her
She opens it
You smile broadly
She kisses you
You don't let her go
I look away
I start to cry
I loved you first
I want to die
