Sunset
There is a sense of magic
That happens on warm Summer evenings.
As the thin layers of clouds
Peek over the valleys,
Fresh scented air
Blows calmly through your hair;
As the glistening sunshine
Begins to appear
Through the haze of clouds,
Casting beautiful pink, purple,
yellow, and orange
Rays doen on you
Creating a sense of warmth,
Appearing to be reaching out to you
Like a comforting hand.
Eventually disappearing
Into the dusk of the night.
In the blink of an eye,
The sunset is gone.
