When I look back at my past
I figured it really wasn't a blast,
the friends who taunted
and the teachers who haunted,
the words that harmed
and the guys that charmed,
the thoughts that hurt
and the girls that flirt,
the geeks that sang
and the bands that banged,
that kids that cried
and the jocks that lied,
the snobby girls with their curls and pearls
and the cute guys with blue eyes of skies,
who did it all turn out to be
the greatest summer of fun and free.
