My mum's 60th birthday.
Mum,
It is impossible to tell how many stars there are in the night sky
or how many fish there are in the sea
or perhaps you may be wondering whether anything is truly free
It is impossible to count the days up to your expected death
nor is it possible to workout the exact human population on earth
and it is hardly likely to record each and every birth.
My Daughterly love for you is as impossible to
equivalate as all of these cases above
and although we may fight, and although you may grow weary
know that you are one of the most amazing mysteries for me
And for your presence I truly thank God above
for you have shown me true and ever so humble love.
