"It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for what you are not."

~Luara Moncur

Like a baby birds that's learning to fly
We need to take one step at a time,
As a rose bud needs time to develop
A person to needs time too open up,
Like it takes years of storms and sunny days for a tree to grow secure
So it is for a person to start to feel sure,
Just like flowers need water to grow
We need encouraging words from people we know,
As a cub watches and learns how to hunt,
We too need guidance to be successful ones.

As the wind comes and goes unseen
Is how life's end comes upon each being,
So we should live our lives like the gull and eagle
Worry less and free,
And as the swallow is light and playful
We should always be happy and joyful;
We never know when it could be our turn to go
So we should live life as a prowling cat ready to pounce at anytime.

I was thinking one day about life..and how 'we' as people take it for granted. And how nature reminds us everyday that there's more to life than be stuck in our ways and too busy doing other stuff-we are so busy with life we forget to live!

I loved your analogies. :) Well thought out! I'd never be able to come up with that many!
