The Man Next Door
He was the neighbor,
He was a friend.
He showed himself to me and I just laughed.
A few months later he was behind me rubbing my back.
His hand all over my body;his fingers inside my eight year old life.
He made me touch him, then later went back to bed.
Everyone knew but no one knew whom.
I promised I'd never tell and to this day I still only say;
you were the neighbor,
you were a friend
