Mom
Everyday I watch her disappear
She dies a little
Her last moments tic away with the hands of a clock
I fear her dying in my arms
I won't let her see my fright
As I watch her every move
She pushes herself the extra mile
She gives me a broken smile
It pains me to be helpless
I can see it in her heart
She'll miss this world when it's her time to depart
