Late One Night
Awake in my bed
Dreams still alive in my head
Why on such a glorious night
Do I have to be filled with such fright
I've had it many times before
Allways the dream of an open door
Nary a person nor animal in sight
This is when I filled with fright
What if they left me all alone
Never to come and take me home
I stop and stay to think about it
In fact i lay for quite a bit
And when the sun comes with the dawn
I realize my dream was just a con
Then I go and see my family
And I start to think more sanely
