Wings of Words
Speaking lies in truth
Forever lost in a labyrinth
Without a direction to go
Lost in an unknown world
With familiar terrain
But oh so strange
In my own little world
Of words and constant change
Everything is dark
But light at the same time
In case you didn’t notice
I’ve started to rhyme
My mind is a complicated place
Not even I can understand it
I don’t ask for you to know
I surely don’t demand it
Try to read my mind
Tell me what I’m thinking
Because when I go exploring
I find myself sinking
Into an entire new world
Of unknown things
Adventure is certain
In my world of feathered wings

Washington Irving once said “There is sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They are messengers of overwhelming grief and of unspeakable love.”
