Thoughts in my mind moves fast like waves in the ocean
Thinking about the sad times in the past
Feels like someone just punched you in the face
The bullying, the stupid things I did or said
Comes back to haunt me in my sleep
They just wont go away
My mind just collects the thoughts and closes it with the key that I cannot find
I am smiling on the outside
But water droplets are falling on the inside
I know life goes on and the past is the past
But when you have a heart that's easily torn
It's hard to put the pieces back together
These thoughts do not last throughout the day
But they come back when I remember those scary faces in flashbacks
The faces that used to push me down and step all over me
Life has been much better since then but these memories will never go away
And once those memories are born
You cannot abort them
But you have to be strong and hold on to your faith

The author's comments:
I got bullied in Junior High School and I still have horrible memories from it. Sometimes I think about them and it annoys me and makes me feel a little upset. But I never let it get to me because these memories are apart of me and they will never go away. So I wanted other people who also have horrible memories to realize that those memories are a part of you and you may feel bad about it but you shouldn't let it mess with your faith and your life. I also wanted them to know that they're not the only ones who have these thoughts.

This is so amazing you turn a negative experience into a work of art. keep up the good work and keep shining so other kids can relate and be inspired
