Unravel
A wise man once told me before his life was through
"Were you born to resist, or just be abused?"
Sandman born to haunt me while the world is in it's sleep
But the world must end to awake again, harvest what you'll reap
Just take a look at what you see
Ain't too different from what I believe
Just believe that you have a journey to travel
Tie up loose ends before you unravel
You may hold the candle, I'll just feel the flame
Bear the world on my shoulders, feel no pity nor shame
I stood for something few others hung over their heads
I slept better knowing I made a difference instead
Vital signs still beating yet here I am still pleading
Look at the world outside and the fires we've made
These games that I've played I got older today
I breathed in the ocean tides as I walked away
