Maybe, “us boys” should not cry…
One day we will be men,
Ready to jump the cliff and fly.
Maybe life will be easier, by then.

Maybe words mean nothing to anybody, but me.
Simple dreams and timeless thoughts left to linger,
like the undead mist parading above the sea.
Maybe, the lines I write are those of the unknown singer.

Maybe, hope is all that I can believe in.
At my wits end, it seems that I’m left suddenly alone.
Simply suffocating beneath your clouds of sins.
Maybe, one day your heart won’t be made of stone.

Maybe it is all said and done.
Like a decaying dream, or even death itself.
Although it attacks relentlessly, I still manage to see the sun.
Maybe it’s time that I move on, by myself.
