Sugar Ocean
The water was rough, forcing her down
Lungs filled with Sugar Ocean,
The core willing her to drown;
Born without spectrum of emotion,
Drowning would be sweet release
Anonymous with life ceased
She was a hollow shell filled to the brim
With whatever the aliens poured in.
We rubbed honey in the wounds,
As to make the blood taste sweet.
Fooled by depth we all assumed -
It was then we knew she was only meat.
