No fairytale for me.......
Were I to sit upon my throne
I'd be the ruler of of fools alone
All the kings horses, and all the kings men
Couldn't put this man back together again
The table was set and my plate was full
A feast truly fit for a king
But the phantoms ring inside my head
Why do I feel all this resentment lingering
Every look upon her face, I see I no longer have a place
The walls I worked so hard to build, have home crumbling
When I thought I had perfect vision and everything was just
I forgot what it mean to be alive, what it meant to trust
But a blind man was and I was the one who was stumbling
I've had my fill of suffering no longer will I be an offering
I tried to help what I cannot save, to this world I will not remain a slave
Guided by their own misfortunes dragged into the trap
Add it all together you are helpless now it's really simple math
Are my words rather grim because the light is dim?
Once upon a time I thought it'd last forever
But what a dream it was to be replayed
In my head eternal no delay
Sickness as I vomit the blood tastes like hate
For all the things in my life I could not protect
I hope I've burned your memory, your heart wounds I'll infect
I regret what could not be saved.....as I take it to my grave
