Same Old Situation
In the early morning, I see the writing on the wall
Empty barricades of thought, and mysteries down the hall
I've had a legacy of f***ing up, the cold trail I left behind
Should have seen it coming somewhere further down the line
Just a junkie without a common fix
Repair my mind and spare me the common tricks
If I was never the disease, why am I feeling sick
Maybe they think I focus on the orchestra just for kicks
This must be poison ivy so let me get a little prick
Burn my retinas with your social crucifix
The clock is ticking so does this mean the journey's at an end
I already wrote my letter ink blood ink so don't forget to send
Everyday it's something new when I'm up it just comes crashing down
I must be in a different place I can feel the sound
