My heart twists and turns
heaves and hoes
spins and squeezes
and I can't calm it
Only you could help me
Only you made my heart understandable.
But where have you gone oh dear friend?
I have lost you
So now I seek you,
With hands outstretched
Waiting for your fingers to touch mine,
And pull me in your warm embrace,
Where I will be home, at last.
